Key responsibilities:
Performing ultrasounds in abdominal and pelvic, musculoskeletal, small parts, vascular, cranial/neonatal/paediatric, 1st trimester pregnancy, interventional procedures etc.
Requirements:
- Formal Ultrasound qualification
- HPCSA Registration
- Excellent patient care and passion for ultrasound
- Able to work Mon – Friday 8h00 -17h00, 8h30 – 17h30 pm & 9h00 – 18h00 pm plus one Saturday morning every month from 9h00 – 13h00
- Flexible regarding working hours when needed
- A valid driver’s license with own reliable transport

Please note: you will be required to assist with call and overtime from time to time should we experience staff shortages (if there are less than 6 sonographers participating in the night call and less than 8 participating in weekend overtime shifts.) You will then be required to work one call shift every 6 weeks and a weekend overtime shift once every month.

2) LINKSFIELD HOSPITAL – RECEPTION TEAM LEADER
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, manage and co-ordinate the work of reception staff in an efficient and effective manner
- Monitor the quality of all data input and document management in your department
- Ensure that all company policies, procedures, and co-payments are understood by staff and complied with
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of medical aid rules, regularly communicate changes to the team
- Continuously monitor and coach staff to deliver excellent service to all patients with a high focus on; empathy and dignity
- Work hand in hand with the Radiography Team Leader and Head Office staff to ensure an efficient and affective workflow
- Build and maintain, good collaborative relationships and communication with all stakeholders
- Assist with investigations and take appropriate action in accordance with hospital and company policy in relation to complaints
- Participate in interviews, personally induct new staff and conduct probation appraisals
- Ensure that the resources of the department under your control are utilised effectively, efficiently and fairly

- Submit statistics, reports, claims etc. timeously to Head Office/Management
- Ensure staffing and rosters are planned monthly
- Maintain a healthy balance of reception work and leading/monitoring/coaching and other leadership functions (60/40% split)
- Continuously observe staff, coach, motivate, provide constructive feedback, acknowledge, and show appreciation for good performance, and conduct formal performance appraisals.
- Continuously development and grow your leadership and soft skills
- Coach and develop a 2iC to be able to run the department in your absence and apply for future Team Leader vacancies
- Conduct monthly staff meetings /small group meetings to keep staff informed and involve them in departmental matters
- Adhere to the POPI Act
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12, plus current /completed course in Leadership
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in a leadership/2iC position in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to build and maintain good relations with all stakeholders (referring doctors, matrons, ward nurses, providers and internal staff)
Advantageous:
- Having completed a few short/on-line courses in essential soft skills e.g., effective meetings, effective communication, conflict management, coaching, delegation, time-management, Outlook, Excel, Word etc. through providers such as Udemy.com and Alison, demonstrating your commitment to lifelong learning.

3) HEAD OFFICE ALBERTON – HR COORDINATOR
Key responsibilities:
- General HR administration
- Recruitment (job ads, screening, shortlisting, schedule interviews, reference checking, prep offers and contracts)
- Onboarding and offboarding
- Answer general HR queries
- Assist and give guidance to Team Leaders on basic IR matters such as investigations and warnings
- Coordinate performance appraisals
- Partake in EE and ATR/WSP prep and reporting
- Order, track and follow up on uniform for new staff
- Attendance management
- Compile and present short training sessions
- Track and maintain relevant HR metrics to support effective decision-making
Minimum Requirements:
- A formal HR Qualification (NQF level 5)
- At least 2 years proven relevant experience in a high-pressure environment
- Good knowledge of South African Labour Laws and relevant Case Law
- Working knowledge of misconduct investigations
- Good knowledge and understanding of EE & SD plans and reports
- Good organising, prioritising and time management skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Self-motivated
- Able to build and maintain good relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
